Radiohead returning to studio

Radiohead apparently will be returning to the studio before the start of their much anticipated U.S. tour. At least according to Colin Greenwood in a recent interview with Pitchfork

Greenwood revealed to Pitchfork that the band would indeed by returning to the studio in the near future, “we’re actually gonna be working with Nigel [Godrich] again soon– we’ve reserved time and we’ve got stuff we want to do.”

The Radiohead bassist would not go as far to state if any one of this new material would find its way into to the upcoming tour however, “Don’t know yet. Thom came in with a list of 70 songs we’re rehearsing for the tour and it’s like, fucking hell! So it’s been real difficult to remember stuff. We should’ve gone onto YouTube to remind us how to play the songs. Are you going to see the tour?”

In other Radiohead news, it was recently revealed that Bat for Lashes would be opening for the band during their upcoming European dates.

The band is also expected to reveal more U.S. tour information on Monday. Until then, how about a Radiohead widget?
