Redfest 2008

The inaugural (or maybe second annual?) Redfest will take place between July 4 and 5 in Surry, England. The festival advertises to offer “the same experience that previous generations of festival goers had.”

The Maccabees, Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Late of the Pier, Lightspeed Champion, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Los Campesinos!, Elliot Minor, Operator Please, Fear of Music, Ebony Bones, Robots in Disguise, This City, Johnny Foreigner, Pete and the Pirates, I Haunt Wizards, WinterKids, SixNationState

Tickets are now on sale for the 5,000-capacity festival.

This year sees the launch of a new festival – with a difference - Redfest. This exciting two day festival, with onsite camping, takes place in parkland near Redhill Surrey (a mere 15 miles from London) and features some of the most exciting acts to emerge from today’s thriving underground music scene. With a music policy spanning indie, rock, electro and dance there’s enough to capture the attention of the most discerning of music lovers.`

  1. Hi

I would like to apply for a DVD movie running at 55mins to be shown at your festival. It is a musical and visual experience that other festivals have shown interest in and will be showing this year.

Our electronic press kit can be found at this online address:
    http://www.myspace.com/sleepwalkerfeverthemovie

Here you will find clips from the movie. The music is by the band Sendelica that I am the drummer for. You can find this band at http://www.myspace.com/sendelicapsyche

and the movie, including specialist cinematography and editing, was made by Grant Wakefield and you can find more samples of his work at
    http://www.pmwcreative.org

Hope you enjoy what you see and I’d be grateful for any reply.

    Paul
