Gavin Rossdale reveals new single
It’s been awhile since Gavin Rossdale has done anything, with the exception of making a child. His last band, Institute, barely shook a wall (though they did share the stage with U2) and the last time anyone heard “Glycerine” was on the Buzz Ballads commercial at three in the morning. Some might call that depressing, but optimists (or fans) will call that reclusive.
Whatever the case, the former frontman is back with a new single, “Love Remains The Same”, off his upcoming solo album, Wanderlust, due June 3rd. If that’s not enough to hold you over, there’s a short, clever film that previews several of the songs off the soon to be released disc, featuring Rossdale himself.
Fans will be pleased to know that in a recent interview with Buzznet, Rossdale commented on a possible Bush reunion, “Being in Bush was everything to me, and I hope to re-ignite that fire someday.” With Stone Temple Pilots in lock for this summer, perhaps something in 2009?
We’ll have to wait and hope… err, see.
