The Fratellis debut “Mistress Mabel”, prep new album

The Fratellis have announced details pertaining to their highly anticipated followup to their 2006’s Costello Music. Entitled Here We Stand, the band’s second album will be released on June 9.

The album’s first single, “Mistress Mabel,” will be officially released on May 26. The song was debuted yesterday by Jim Gellatly during his “X-Posure” radio show on XFM Scotland.

The band originally debuted the song live on February 22 during a performance at Queen Margaret Union.

The Glasgow natives are currently scheduled to appear at several European festivals this Summer, including Reading and Leeds, St. Gallen, and the V Festival. No word on any U.S. dates…
