Lollapalooza takes place between August 1 and 3, 2008 in Chicago, Illnois. Tickets are currently on sale via Front Gate Solutions.

  1. nice lineup. quite jealous; i live on the other side of the country

  2. THIS IS THE BEST LINEUP IN THE US THIS YEAR.

  3. I came

  4. Manchester Orchestra!

    Black Kids!

    Brand New!

    Flogging Molly!

Not to mention everyone else already confirmed plus quite a few other acts I’ve been meaning to check out, this is going to be a good weekend.

thats only 90 acts though, we should be expecting 15-25 more additions (not counting kids stage acts) I’ve still got my fingers crossed for Justice. That would just top off the weekend for me. I’d also like Lily Allen, Crystal Castles, and Polyphonic Spree, but thats just being picky. haha.

  5. just read the bottom of your message, I must of count one the acts twice. I’m assuming you 30-40 estimate includes kids stage acts? I estimated around what, 15 kids stage acts?

  6. Woooooow. I should be ashamed. I said Lilly Allen, I definitely mean Kate Nash. I need sleep…

  7. I cant wait so glad im going to this instead of APW.

  8. that’s weird that We Go To 11 is the one band you couldn’t find a myspace page for… Anyway, I found it http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=362514491

meh, if I knew how to use html I would put it that way, but that’s the link.

  9. solid headliners, no jack johnson, great up and coming bands…if i lived in chicago i’d totally go to this.

  10. Great headliners, weak body though. I like the lineup overall, but it’s pretty clear the lolla organizers unloaded a lot more cash on headliners than in years past.

  11. Sasquatch is the best still, but Lolla is certainly one of the highlights this year in terms of festivals

  12. …the best festival of the summer, hands down…

thats a playlist i made for the festival. STACKED.

    tear it up.

  13. [...] own remixing contest. The super hyped U.K. natives, who by the way are playing this year’s Lollapalooza, are now giving fans a chance to remix “Electric Bloom,” a song off their debut album, [...]
