Check Out: Tilly and the Wall’s new material
As we posted some time ago, Tilly and the Wall will release their third full-length album, entitled O, on June 17 via Team Love Records. In support of the upcoming album, the band have also released a new 7-inch for “Beat Control,” which can currently be streamed via their RCRD LBL page.
O is Tilly and the Wall’s most cohesive, sonically experimental album yet. In addition
to building a tack piano for certain songs, the band toyed with percussion much more than their previous efforts, recording Jamie’s taps through a variety of different amplifiers and floors to give each song its own distinct rhythm. With its massive dose of high energy and hip-shaking attitude, this album will remind you of you why you fell for Tilly and the Wall in the first place.

The band is currently scheduled to appear at this year’s Wakarusa Music Festival.

Only Tilly and the Wall could get away with a video THAT quirky and retro. I love these guys. There’s a hilarious article on Culturespill that captures them perfectly, I think. Check it out: http://culturespill.com/?p=77
