The mother of all Norwegian music festivals returns to Kristiansand on the south coast of Norway in 2008. On the most beautiful festival site in Northern Europe, Quart presents four days of the best in eclectic and international music from July 2nd to 5th. Located on a stunning peninsula where you can take a dip into clear waters just 20 yards from the main stage, the Quart site houses five stages where artists will perform to 40,000 music fans. Once the festival comes to a close each day, Klubb Quart kicks off in several venues across the city a mere five minute stroll away, presenting the best in dance and all– round electronics. This year also ushers in the inaugural Quart Games event – the first professional skateboarding competition ever to be held in Norway. The longest–running and still the best Norwegian festival, Quart draws festival–goers to Kristiansand from all over the world eager to sample the best in Norwegian hospitality, beautiful scenery and excellent music.
