SoCo Music Experience 2008 initial lineups
The Southern Comfort Music Experience is an annual traveling festival tour that seeks to bring “a free music event to groups of friends 21 years old and over.”A few of the initial lineups for the seven stop tour have recently been revealed…
Folks in Atlanta will see Against Me!, Ghostland Observatory, Supersuckers, Ryan Shaw, and Bang Camero.
Gnarls Barkley and Bassnecter will be in Denver, while the Black Keys will perform in San Diego. The rest of the lineups will be revealed in the coming weeks. Full dates below…

May 17 - Atlanta, GA @ Centennial Park
June 28 - Denver, CO @ Central Parking Lot, Coors Field
August 23 - San Diego, CA @ Ace Parking Lot, Petco Park
September 6 - Madison, WI @ Willow Island at Alliant Energy Center
September 13 - Saratoga Springs, NY @ TBD
October 18 - Tempe, AZ @ Tempe Market Place

The Penn’s Landing information is incorrect; it was the 2006 SoCo Philly lineup that is still up on one of Southern Comfort’s promotional websites. The other dates are correct.
Plus, the Flaming Lips are already playing Philly at Jam on the River over Memorial Day weekend a few weeks earlier.
