Who are The Who covering?
Legendary Rock act The Who is heading back into the studio to work on an R&B cover album with producer T Bone Burnett. “We’re digging through lots of material and seeing what will work,” Burnett told Rolling Stone. Burnett has also produced albums with Elvis Costello, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and Spinal Tap. The Who’s last album, Endless Wire, reached the top ten in the US. Not bad for spending more than 20 years out of the studio.
This should give the band sometime to burn off, while Townshend is carving out songs for the actual follow up.
