The Terrordactyls release new EP

The Terrordactyls, who we featured in a “Listen” segment way back when, return with a new EP. The Mike Bowers EP, now available on iTunes, features five covers of songs by fellow Washington band The Pharmacy.

Here they use their signature classical guitar, toy pianos, and kazoos to take the edge off The Pharmacy’s old school spazz punk stylings by transforming them into perfect campfire songs…

Contrasting the original tracks and The Terrordactyls’ covers, listeners will be sure to appreciate the undeniable intimacy of “Overcast Summer” and the bittersweet sing along “Growing Old.”

In addition to the EP release, the duo of Michael Cadiz and Tyrel Stendahl are currently in the middle of a U.S. tour.
