Tokio Hotel plan to release debut album in the U.S.
In its revolving door article of albums to be released, 
Rolling Stone announced that German emo/glam rockers Tokio Hotel will prepare to release their U.S. debut album Scream on May 6th. The group has previously released two albums in their native Germany, Schrei (2005) and Zimmer 483 (2007). Scream will comprise song selections from both albums sung in English, not in German like their previous outings.
“Twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz founded eyeliner-and-riffs quartet Tokio Hotel in Germany seven years ago, and as young teens the group rocketed to international stardom, selling out stadiums across Europe. The band — androgynous Bill on vocals and Tom on guitar, drummer Gustav Schaefer and bassist Georg Listing (none of whom is old enough to grab a beer at one of their Stateside shows) — will make its U.S. debut with their first English-language album, Scream, a selection of their angsty German hits translated into English in the key of My Chemical Romance.”
The first single taken from the album, “Monsoon” was released in May of last year (as the German Durch Den Monsun) and has sold extremely well. The band also released a video for the single which can be found here:
I have to thank my little sister for this, as I’m sure many teenage girls out there will find this to be very interesting, as well as the most amazing thing ever. Scream comes out in stores May 6th. Grab a copy of the next biggest German act since The Scorpions…no really.

Tokio Hotel is excellent! And if you live in New Jersey, they will be at Bamboozle on May 3rd! New York? How about a CD signing on May 6th? And CONAN on May 9th!
