Weezer confirm title, reveal tracklisting

I’m not usually bias in my reporting (okay, that’s a lie, right?), but Weezer’s upcoming sixth album has to be the most exciting release of the summer. If that new single hasn’t shaken something in your head, then you need to take some Advil because you’re a bit too cold (folks, I’m here all week!). Anyhow, today comes exciting news as Weezer has officially confirmed the title as Weezer, or in other words, The Red Album, and they rolled out a tracklisting. Not to mention, the sixth slice will be delivered to us on June 24th.

“Weezer” (2008) Tracklist is as follows:

Regular Edition (CD; digital):

1. Troublemaker
2. The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn)
3. Pork and Beans
4. Heart Songs
5. Everybody Get Dangerous
6. Dreamin’
7. Thought I Knew
8. Cold Dark World
9. Automatic
10. The Angel and the One

Deluxe Edition (CD with special packaging; iTunes):

1. Troublemaker
2. The Greatest Man That Ever Lived (Variations on a Shaker Hymn)
3. Pork and Beans
4. Heart Songs
5. Everybody Get Dangerous
6. Dreamin’
7. Thought I Knew
8. Cold Dark World
9. Automatic
10. The Angel and the One
11. Miss Sweeney
12. Pig
13. The Spider
14. King

[Weezer]

Looks like there will be a studio cut of “Pig”, the song that leaked out in 2006 and had everyone scrambling around in excitement. Well, we at least we know which version we’re all going to have to buy now.

Now, if there was just some information on when and where they’ll be touring…
