Sean Penn to perform at Coachella?
And the Coachella 2008 coverage keeps on coming…
Perhaps the most interesting thing coming out of the festival’s schedule announcement is the appearance of Sean Penn’s name appears not once, but twice on the Sunday lineup. The actor/director/political activist first appears wedged between Holy Fuck and Linton Kwesi Johnson at the 2:10-2:40 p.m. slot on the Gobi Stage, and then later that evening, between 6:45-7:00 p.m. on the Coachella Stage.
So what will Mr. Penn be doing in Indio, California this weekend? No one knows for sure, but Celebs Gone Good apparently has an idea:

We’ll likely know more as the festival gets nearer. In the meantime, we can always hope and dream that one of Penn’s appearances will instead be a special appearance by Eddie Vedder performing Into the Wild…
