Check Out: Coldplay’s new single
Coldplay lived up to their promise and officially released “Violet Hill,” the first single off the band’s upcoming album, Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (June 12 via Capital Records), earlier this morning as a free download via their official website.
A limited-edition vinyl version of the single will also be packaged in the upcoming issue of NME.
So far, impressions seemed to be mix. Some enjoy the new experimental sound, while others appear a little bit wary.

It sounds straight out of X&Y…the Square One opening and closing.
Only now we got some of Enos harder sound to add to it.

abon your cool because you can quote a movie. This track is actually really good. And who cares if they borrowed a little from Radiohead some of the greatest musians of all time borrowed from others. Ala Elvis.
