Radio 1’s Big Weekend is big

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is a free, two-day music festival set to take place between May 10 and 11 at Mote Park in Maidstone, England. And based on the lineup, the word “big” is perhaps the only way to truly describe the festivities taking place in less two weeks.

Unfortunately, unless you win them through a BBC Radio contest, tickets to “Europe’s biggest free ticketed event” are no longer free. Registration filled up immediately on Monday.

However, tickets are still available for the official after-party, which will feature the likes of  Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Simian Mobile Disco, via ticketmaster.co.uk.
