Black Kids sign record contract, prep album

Pop darlings the Black Kids have announced plans of the release of their long-awaited debut album, Partie Traumatic, on July 7. Produced by Bernard Butler (The Cribs, The Libertines), the Jacksonville, Florida natives will release the album through Columbia Records, thanks to their newly signed record contract.

The album’s first single, “I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance with You,” was released last month.
