Gojira opens for Metallica
Posted on their myspace page this morning, French groove metal headbangers Gojira announced they will open for Metallica’s only French show in the northeast city of Arras on August 14th:
‘Some kind of monster’: GOJIRA have confirmed their exclusive upcoming live date as an opener to METALLICA ’s only French show on Thursday the 14th of August in Arras (North of France). METALLICA have not played in France since their latest appearance at the Parc des Princes in 2004 and 25,000 people are expected. This will also be GOJIRA’s only live date since their North American tour in November 2007.
Gojira also is currently in the studio recording their follow-up to their extremely awesome third album From Mars To Sirius which will see a worldwide release in October.
