Alkaline Trio offer contest, tour dates
In anticipation of the upcoming release of Agony & Irony (July 1 via Epic Records), Alkaline Trio have announced plans not only to visit fans on an upcoming U.S. tour, but also involve them in a unique, interactive contest.
Through the Settle The Score Contest, the band will release sheet music of “Love Love Kiss Kiss,” a track off the new album, before fans even hear it. Fans will then play to the sheet music and upload their versions of the song to YouTube on: youtube.com/group/settlethescore. On June 6th, the band will decide which version of the song tickles their fancy. The lucky winner will get the opportunity to have a homepage feature on the band’s site, tickets to see Alkaline Trio on a date of their choice and VIP passes to meet the band backstage and jam to “Love Love Kiss Kiss” with them. A video of the jam session will be posted on the bands homepage.
