Sub Pop Festival adds names, The Shins next?
Sup Pop Record’s upcoming music festival, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic record label, made a few, high-profile additions to its lineup today. In addition to the previously announced Green River reunion, festival-goers can now look forward to another monumental get-together during the two-day festival, set to take place between July 11 and 13 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, Washington.

Canadian rockers Eric’s Trip, who also recently reunited, and Les Thugs, a punk band from France, were also added to the lineup.
In addition to these new names, another major one may soon be on the way. According to Marymoor Park’s website, at least before being taken down, The Shins are also scheduled to take part in the Sub Pop festivities. While nothing is confirmed, it would make sense. After all, The Shins’ label is Sub Pop…
