Update: Oasis demos aren’t new
Turns out those Oasis demos everyone has been talking about today won’t be included on the band’s upcoming seventh album, nor even give any indication as to the band’s current musical direction.
So in other words, all that hoopla, there is even a Myspace dedicated to the leak!, was for nothing…
A number of old Oasis songs have appeared on the internet amidst claims that the band’s new album has leaked.
The songs are actually all old demos from previous sessions and well informed fans will have known that these tracks have been in circulation for some time. In fact, most are versions of songs that have already been released.
None of the songs are from sessions for the band’s new studio album.

If you’re still inclined to give them a listen, you can check out mp3s of the demos over at Cold Cut and Pretty Much Amazing.
As of now, your best chance to hear new Oasis material is probably by going to one of their few, upcoming shows…
