Check Out: New Pete Doherty/Babyshambles demo

Hot off an early release from prison, the Babyshambles frontman has released a demo and music video for a song entitled, “Maybelline” via the band’s website. The song is expected to appear on the band’s forthcoming album, which the band will begin recording soon.

Pulling a Ryan Adams (?), the self-recorded video (?) features Doherty being chocked by new girlfriend Irina Lazareanu. Romantic, eh?

In other Babyshambles news, the band is also currently prepping the release of their new live CD/DVD, Oh What A Lovely Tour, which is due out on June 2.
