Echo & The Bunnymen set Radio City date

Earlier today, NME reported that English art-rock legends Echo & The Bunnymen (remember the opening credits of Donnie Darko? Yeah, that was them.) set a date at the world famous Radio City Music Hall in New York to perform their classic fourth album Ocean Rain in it’s entirety on October 1st. The band will be backed by a 10 piece orchestra, conducted by Rupert Christie who became famous for conducting Lou Reed’s classic album Berlin.

This of course all as comes as the band is putting the finishing touches on its tenth album, The Fountain which will hear a release date soon. The first single off the album “I Think I Need It Too” will be unveiled on July 14.

This will definitely settle the stomachs of Donnie Darko fans and why not? The English always have an ace up their sleeves.
