Coldplay unveil “Violet Hill”
With the release date for Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends just a mere month away and tickets for many of their upcoming U.S. shows set to go on sale tomorrow morning, Coldplay have graced fans with the release of a new music video.
Recorded in Sciliy, Italy, the video for “Violet Hill,” the album’s first single, is highlighted by the band walking up a certain hill in some colorful outfits reminiscent of the upcoming album’s cover art. Talk about genius!
Coldplay will reportedly be debuting the song live at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards on June 1.
Pretty good for four guys who weren’t even on speaking terms come not too long ago…
