Foo Fighters release tour edition DVD

All of us at Consequence of Sound love Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. There’s no denying that. From a kickass performance in Chicago this past February to his open letter to Metallica encouraging their new album to kick lots of ass, anything Dave Grohl touches turns to gold.

In other words, we were quite pleased by a recent report on Blabbermouth that noted the Foo Fighters have re-released their DVD performance from Hyde Park back in June 2006. Included on the DVD is concert footage with Lemmy from Motorhead performing “Shake Your Blood” with the Foos (from Grohl’s side project Probot) as well as footage of Queen’s Brian May & Roger Taylor jamming on the classic Queen tune “Tie Your Mother Down.”

It doesn’t get better than this…go grab the new DVD!
