The Hold Steady have officially unveiled “Sequestered in Memphis,” the first single of their forthcoming album Stay Positive (June 15 via Vagrant Records) as a stream on their myspace.
U.K.’s Uncut Magazine has an early review of the band’s fourth studio album and so far so good…
…it’s clear that The Hold Steady have made another record that is at once immediate and reflective, that can provide massive live celebrations and intimate close study. There’s a lot to get your teeth into here, trust me. . .
