DFest 2008

DFest 2008

Returning for its seventh go around, the D Fest Music Conference and Festival will take place between July 25 and 26 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This year’s edition will feature a hodgepodge of different styles and sounds as everyone from Paramore and All American Rejects to Ghostland Observatory and The Roots are currently scheduled to perform.

Tickets for the festival are currently available via OKCTickets.com.

In addition to the national acts, the festival will feature some 120 unsigned bands and artists.

Dfest will also include a tradeshow and conference comprised of music industry panels and music clinics that educate working musicians and music enthusiasts at every level. Invisible Records owner Martin Atkins, Columbia College professor and author of “Tour: Smart,” will be the conference’s keynote speaker…

The tradeshow and conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the official host hotel of Dfest.

  1. That is a GREAT line up! Good price. Hope the rest of the festivals follow their lead!

  2. You should check out AM. He’s headling Dfest on the main stage too. He’s not very well-known and he’s pretty hard to find on google but his myspace is myspace.com/amsounds. I would highly highly recommend listening to his stuff… he’s very talented and you’d prolly recognize his songs from being on some of your favorite tv shows.

  3. Hey, I am glad to see a post about AM. Being a Tulsa native, I happen to love him! Can’t wait to see him at Dfest, he always puts on a great show!
