Another music festival for Chicago

Chicagoans sure have it lucky. After all, they already have Lollapalooza, Pitchfork, and Summercamp all in basically their backyard, plus an abundance of awesome street festivals. But who said the rich can’t keep getting richer?

Advertised as the Chicago’s areas first overnight camping festival, the Lazy River Music and Arts Festival will kick off its inaugural edition between June 27 and 29 at Vasa Park in Northwestern, Illinois with 20+ performers on two stages along with some special late night performances.

Friday: Cross Canadian Ragweed, Son Volt, The Bon Mots, Chris Knight, Jennie Arnau, Late night featuring acoustic performance with Cody Canada of Cross Canadian Ragweed

Saturday: Rusted Root, Banyan, 56 Hope Road, The Alternate Routes, The Bridge, Medicine Hat, Jack Straw, The Hue, Late night featuring Acoustic performance with Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root

Sunday: Mr. Blotto, New Monsoon, EOTO, Ekoostik Hookah, Family Groove Company, Down the Line, Arthur Lee Land, Land of Atlantis
