Pearl Jam featuring Jack White?

Pearl Jam featuring Jack White?

With this year’s edition of Bonnaroo set to go down in less than two weeks, the rumor mill is in full-force as fans speculate and/or wish on some of the surprises that may go down when some 70,000+ grace the fields of Manchester, Tennessee.

Aside from the Tom Waits rumored super jam, the newest and perhaps most interesting potential surprise came about compliments of Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready. When asked in a recent interview with Billboard who he’d like to jam with at Bonnaroo, McCready responded:

“I’d love to have Jack White up… I think he’s just a phenomenal guitar player. I’d love to see him play up close … because he’s got a killer voice and he’s a great lead player, too. That would be exciting to me.”

White and The Raconteurs are scheduled to perform on Friday, while Pearl Jam will hold down the Saturday headlining spot. However, The Raconteurs do not have another show that weekend, meaning White has plenty of time for a guest apperance on Saturday.

We’ll let you draw your own conclusions…
