N.E.R.D. announces Seeing Things info

The release of N.E.R.D.’s new studio album, Seeing Things, is a mere eight days away, and though maybe a bit late, Pharell Williams and company have finally unveiled some more info about the much anticipated followup to 2004’s Fly or Die.

The band’s third studio album will indeed be released on June 10 via Interscope Records. The 13-track, Neptunes produced album will feature the previously heard “Everyone Nose (All the Girls Standing in Line for the Bathroom)” as its first single, due out on July 7.

“We didn’t care about genres; we’re not doing this for the money…We’re doing this for people who pledge allegiance to our movement.”

It’s a mixture of senses that may cause a person to experience colorful hearing, auditory smell…For example, you might see something, and it might trigger a song. You might hear something, and it might trigger a taste in your mouth. When we created this album, it was the music we envisioned while creating it. We decided it would be the appropriate title for the album.”

“If you really analyze that the most inspiration is probably deep inside a synesthesiac. So for us, ’seeing sounds’ is what we relate to the most. We figured we’d make an album out of it.
