Check Out: Albert Hammond Jr.’s new song

With the release of his new solo album, Cómo Te Llama?, just a month away (July 8 via RCA Records), Strokes guitarist turned solo artist Albert Hammond Jr. has dropped “GfC”, the first single off the upcoming album. With a Strokes-esque backing sound, the song is a nice catchy pop ballad thanks to as Spin describes it “an all out chorus in which Hammond Jr. stretches his vocals like never before.”

Speaking of his main band, we haven’t heard anything since bassist Nikolai Fraiture noted that preparation for the fourth LP is underway. Strange? Well, it is The Strokes we’re talking about…
