Watch: McCartney plays Beatles songs
Don’t let the title fool you. Last night’s show is being proclaimed as one for the ages.
In front of some 35,000 people in his home city of Liverpool and what was the 41st anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s, Paul McCartney performed for nearly two hours Sunday night to cap off the European Capital Of Culture festivities. Joined by the likes of Dave Grohl and watched by Yoko Ono, McCartney played a spectacular set featuring a mix of Beatles, Whigs, and solo classics.
