The New Pornographers are curators too!
Massive Attack and The Melvins aren’t the only bands putting on a music festival this summer.
The New Pornographers will be hosting the first annual Stanley Park Singing Exhibition between August 31 and September 1 at the Malkin Bowl in Vancouver, British Columbia. Such names scheduled to join the Canadian natives on stage over the course of the two day event include Neko Case, Deerhoof, Destroyer, Andrew Bird, Stevie Jackson, The 1900s, The Evaporators, and Visqueen along with some very special guests.
According to Pitchfork, tickets will be available via The New Pornographers website begining June 6, though you can also get them through hob.com and livenation.com.
i don’t know about that, raconteurs are playing malkin bowl september 18…..
The Very Special guest would be the Raconteurs, I’m assuming.
