Bonnaroo kick off party, Tiësto has surprises
With Bonnaroo set to begin in exactly one week, anticipation and excitement is certainly growing, especially when we get new surprises like these popping up almost daily…
The Official Bonnaroo Kickoff Party will go down on Wednesday, June 11 at the Mercury Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee. Lez Zeppelin will headline the show, which is sure to provide an early party opportunity for folks heading down to the farm. The show is FREE, but RSVP is required.

Think that’s good? Wait until you see what Tiësto has up his sleeve for his scheduled Bonnaroo performance…
Tiësto, currently on his 2008 Summer “In Search of Sunrise Tour” will play an exclusive late night set during the Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival at 1:30 am on Friday, June 13th in THIS TENT. Tegan & Sara, Cary Brothers and José González are all scheduled to perform with the master DJ during his two hour set. In addition to the performance, Tiësto will have a meet and greet and signing at the Newbury Comics tent at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 13th.
Consequence of Sound will on site at Bonnaroo to provide live content and exclusive interviews. In other words, be sure to check CoS next weekend! In the meantime, while we’re busy preparing, we’ll let you dream about the rumored Super Jam and possible Phish reunion. Wait…what?

I saw Tiesto at Hammerstein ballroom last year and with great expectations. It was one of the most disapointing shows I have ever seen.
Phish reunion = doubtful
Tiesto only play 2 hours with that many guest djs joining him = doubtful
I know it says he’s only playing till 3:30, but my guess is he will play much later than that. Thats a pretty common practice for Bonnaroo when it comes to DJ’s. I know Sasha and John Digweed played until almost sunrise last year when there set was supposed to end at 3 or 4.
