U.S. Download Festival tries to make things right
After the revelation that Atmosphere and Brother Ali would not be playing at any of the three scheduled stops of this year’s edition of the U.S. Download Festival, many people were quite upset, and justifiably so. After all, the two Rhymesayer acts were essentially billed as San Fransico and Los Angeles’ headliners, even though neither were actually confirmed.
Atmosphere and Brother Ali were not confirmed for these shows, and will not be playing any dates on the download festivals.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and if you already purchased tickets your money can be refunded through Ticketmaster.
However, it looks like the folks behind the festival are now trying to make things right…at least for the San Francisco portion of the event.
According to both Livenation.com and San Francisco Weekly, The Jesus Mary and Chain and Gang of Four have been added to the July 19th lineup scheduled to perform at Shoreline Amphitheatre in the Golden Gate City. London rockers Alberta Cross will also be taking part. No word on if any of the three acts will be appearing in either Los Angeles or Philadelphia.
Tickets for all three portions of the U.S. Download Festival are currently available via ticketmaster.com.
