Update: Rancid readies September release, debuts new song
Rancid are indeed gearing up for the release of their seventh full-length album. Only it won’t be out as soon as initially expected.
During a performance last night at Club 101 in El Paso, Texas, the legendary punk group revealed that the currently untitled album will be released in September. While no additional information was given, the Brett Gurewitz produced album will likely be released via Hellcat Records.
The band also debuted “L.A. River”, a new song that will appear on the upcoming album at last night’s show. Check out a video of the performance below…
