Bonnaroo around the Web: Sunday
As Aimee Mann pointed out, Sunday is for the “true Bonnaroo warriors”. After three long, often rain drenched days of music, camping, and fun, the festival’s final day seemed to offer a bit mellower of scenes, though Robert Plant & Alison Krauss and Death Cab for Cutie still highlighted the festivities.
- Turns out it wasn’t Kanye’s fault? Maybe?
- Nope, it was Kanye’s fault - he was a his surprise party?!?!?
- Whoever or whatever is too blame, a lot of people are pissed at Kanye
- Despite a medical scare, Orri Páll Dýrason did play with Sigur Rós
- Widespread Panic closed out the Roo
Later Sunday, the Bonnaroo crowd was still upset. Pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph led a “Kanye sucks” chant.

As Widespead plays, teardown around the rest of the festival is in full force. Stages are coming down and venders are packing up. As cliche’ as this sounds, “what a long strange trip it’s been” this weekend. Some festival-goers are leaving tonight, but plenty of campers will stay the night. Traffic tomorrow morning should be fun. It’s my last night staying at the Bonnaroo Radio compound.

be sure to head over to Hot 107.9 and vote for Kanye as the “artist” that smashed the birthday bash.
