Outside Lands makes additions, offers VIP tixs
I suppose Outside Lands just likes being special. Shortly after our we posted the latest edition of our Festival Outlook, the inaugural version of the San Francisco based festival added several new names to its lineup.
The Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival taking place in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, Earth, on August 22, 23 & 24, 2008 just got EVEN sweeter with the latest artist additions of Toots & the Maytals, Rogue Wave, The Walkmen, Mike Gordon, Abigail Washburn & the Sparrow Quartet feat. Bela Fleck, Vienna Teng, Howlin’ Rain, Everest, The Dynamites and Carney.
Thanks to the lineup additions, the day-by-day schedule of Outside Lands now looks like this:
Single day tickets and three-day passes were already on sale via ticketmaster.com. Now the festival is offering VIP tickets, which in addition to festival entry, appears to offer a variety of other amenities - all for the price of $695.00:
- One (1) VIP ticket
- Exclusive Polo Club w/ shade, lounge seating, activities and massage services
- Special restroom facilities
- Access to special VIP food concessions
- Access to beer, wine and spirits services
- Exclusive viewing area at Polo Fields main stage
- Commemorative Poster
- and other amenities
Of course, if you don’t have the coin at hand, you can always go the volunteering route.

Hi, I will visit US those days, I will be there with my VIP ticket to see first group Radiohead!! … I will get there in a CAB, but I wonder how can I return to Union Square when RH finishes?
Is it feasible to call for a CAB? what could be the options to find some transportation to return to SFO? any advise please!
