Coldplay recruits Shearwater, Santogold for tour
After playing the first of those free shows in London the other day, the gentlemen of Coldplay are now likely busy packing for their extended U.S. trip. After a free MSG show next week, the band’s next show will mark the kick off of their two-leg, extensive, and already postponed U.S. tour.
However, even between the packing and the plagiarism controversy, Coldplay did find some time to recruit their support acts for the upcoming tour. Shearwater will help Chris Martin and the fellows kick things off on the west coast, while Brooklyn’s Santogold will serve as support when the band travels to the other side of the country.
