Harley is throwing a huge birthday party
Speaking of Springsteen, it has come to my attention that we have yet to dedicate one true post solely to Harley Davidson’s upcoming extravaganza. As you may know by now, the motorcycle company is turning 105-years-old this year and as part of the celebration, a huge birthday party/music festival is being thrown. And since music festival coverage is part of our game, we’d be remiss not to mention it.
The 105th Anniversary Celebration will officially go down between August 28 and 31 at the Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While separate tickets are required to attend, the Foo Fighters (Aug. 29) and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band (Aug. 30) are currently scheduled to hold down headlining duties at the Roadhouse at the Lakefront.
Like Summerfest, which takes place just a month earlier, “Celebration” general admission tickets do however, guarantee you access to see the other bands (listed below) scheduled to take part in Harley’s two-day festival.
Friday, Aug 29: War, Gary Allan, The Black Crowes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, ZZ Top, Dr. John, Foghat, Los Lonely Boys, Big Head Todd & the Monsters
Saturday, Aug 30: Cameo, Blue Öyster Cult, Daughtry, Buddy Guy, Puddle of Mud, Dierks Bentley, Blind Melon, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Peter Frampton
“Celebration” and Springsteen tickets can be had via Harley’s official website, while Foo Fighters tickets are available via ticketmaster.com.
