Hideout in Chicago come September
Time for yet another reminder of the phenomenal music calender folks in Chicago will get to experience this upcoming summer.
First Pitchfork and Lollapalooza, then the street festivals, and now the block parties. That’s right, the Hideout Chicago Block Party will once again go down in the lovely Windy City, this time between September 20 and 21 at 1354 W. Wabansia.
And based on the recently revealed initial lineup, the 12th edition of the party will indeed offer a perfect close to summer. Headlined by Neko Case and The New Pornographers, Hide Out Chicago promises a quality lineup composed on indie darlings and Chicago favorites. Check out the initial lineup below…
Neko Case, The New Pornographers, The Plastic People of the Universe, Vieux Farka Toure, Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, Monotonix, Black Mountain, Ratatat, Robbie Fulks, Wee Hairy Beasties, Honey Boy Edwards / Devil in a Woodpile, The Jon Rauhouse Sestet, Dark Meat, The Uglysuit, Tim Fite, Little Cow
Additional bands will be included to the lineup in the coming weeks.
Two-day passes are currently availble ($45.00) via Ticketweb.com. A portion of the profits will go to local Chicago charities.
