Kings of Leon dish out Only By The Night details
As we noted a few weeks ago, the Kings of Leon have been busy drinking…and recording their fourth studio album, the followup to Because of the Times. Today, the band officially announced details pertaining to the upcoming album, which will be entitled Only By The Night, and is scheduled to hit music shelves on September 22/23 via RCA Records.
Recorded in Nashville’s Blackbird Studios, the album, produced by Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King, promises to both “rock harder” and be plentiful in “beautiful melodies”.
The Tennessee natives, who toured with Pearl Jam earlier this month, recently began giving fans a taste of several new songs expected to appear on the album, such as “Manhattan” and “Crawl”.

cool cant wait to hear the new album
KOL were amazing opening for Pearl Jam in Virginia Beach. Can’t wait to hear this. Thanks for the news, Alex!
It’s probably the 23rd.
I’m prepared for everyone telling me it’s the best album ever.
In Tennessee, only Raidohead is bigger than Kings of Leon*.
*Kanye was bigger. That changed at 430am Saturday at Bonnaroo.
European date. I’m assuming the U.S. one is the next day.
September 22 is a Monday, so that’s not the US release date. Is there one yet?
