To be honest, the last few weeks have more than frustrating thanks to all the technical problems that have popped up lately. Yep, Pitchfork isn’t the only ones with server problems! In fact, in the next few days, we’ll be making a server move of our own in hopes of ending all these troubles once and for all.

But things like the following provide the reminder, and motivation, to carry on - resist the slamming of heads against walls, the realization to take a deep breath and just relax.

Today, WNEW.com is featuring Consequence of Sound in its inaugural profile of the “Best Music Blogs”. To say we’re honered, would be an understatement. WNEW! We’re talking about the radio station that helped launch the career of Springsteen and so many other legendary artists who forever shaped the world of music. WNEW!

The History: As noted, the blog was primarily started as an outlet to provide commentary on the daily goings on in music. However, by December, Michael Roffman jumped on board and from that point on, the blog has quickly developed into something none of us ever could have dream of. We now average more traffic in 12 hours than we received in our entire first month!
