Check Out: Bloc Party’s new single

What we do know? Yesterday afternoon, Bloc Party debuted “Mercury”, a new single Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio One show.

What we don’t know? Whether this single will be a part of the band’s forthcoming third studio album, which is expected to see release before the end of the year.

Regardless of its relevancy, you can check out the official video for “Mercury”, complete with its furious sounds of electricity and get this…horns, below…

The English natives will be releasing the single and related remixes in a fancy box set on August 11. Pre-orders are now available.

Another thing we do know is Bloc Party will indeed by touring North America in the coming months with fellow indie darlings Does It Offend You, Yeah?
