The Supersuckers reach 20 year milestone

Seattle’s underground sensational punk rockers The Supersuckers announced yesterday on their myspace page that the band has reached their 20th year together tearing up the nation. Bassist/vocalist Eddie Spaghetti writes in the band’s blog regarding their milestone:

Well, not today but… Do you remember what you were doing 20 years ago? Well, we do - we were starting this little rock band called, at the time, The Black Supersuckers and the time has come to celebrate our still doing it 20 years later! That’s right, it was around Thanksgiving in 1988 when we first put this group together and so, on November 29th, 2008 we will be celebrating 20 years of Supersuckers glory. How many bands make it even 5 years? 10? Not many and very, very few make it to 20 and it is with a little bit of pride and a lot of astonishment that we are able to announce this milestone.

With the trail of punk rock, country, booze, failed life episodes and the overall grinding life on the road, The Supersuckers have lived it all and are still kicking alive to live the tale. Currently the Seattle quartet is on their summer tour. Dates are as follows:
