Check Out: I’m From Barcelona’s “Paper Planes”
Though technically neither is actually from Barcelona, unlike Ronaldinho, who yesterday left FC Barcelona to sign with AC Milan, the now 29 people behind I’m From Barcelona are sticking behind their name as much as ever. In fact, with the release of the band’s sophomore album, Who Killed Harry Houdini?, due out in October, we should be more and more from the “Barcelona natives” more and more in the very near future.
While neither tour dates, nor album artwork have been revealed, I’m From Barcelona has since dropped “Paper Planes”, the first single off the Emanuel Lundgren and Fabian “Phat Fabe” Torsson produced album via a stream on Spin.com.
While still very much rich and full, the single does offers a new mellower, mature sound that allows the unique instrumentation and clever lyricism to shine as bright as ever. But before we say to much, we’ll let you check it out for yourself…
