The Arctic Monkeys work on third album
The British sensation of recent forthcomings, better known as The Arctic Monkeys, announced today via NME that they are currently working on their much-anticipated third album. James Ford, who worked with the band on Favourite Worst Nightmare and has again been tapped as producer, recently mentioned this will be the group’s most “psychedelic” offering to date:
“It’s too early to say what sort of direction they’ll go in next,” he told the Daily Star. “But they’ve got at least one tune up their sleeves that sounds massive already.
At the moment, there is neither a release date, nor title for the record. But based on past results, the new effort surely will be turning many heads sooner rather than later.
