Though Conor Oberst has essentially always been a solo artists throughout his more than decade long music career, on August 5, the 28-year-old is gearing up for the release of his first ever album under his actual name.

Since teasing us with live tracks of his upcoming, self-titled release and offering the first bit of dates to what will be an extensive North American tour, the acclaimed Nebraska native, backed by his newly formed Mystic Valley band, has dropped a mastered version of “Danny Callahan”, the first single off Conor Oberst and some more tour dates.

Needless to say, we can’t wait.
