Just like we reported on Friday, Paul Westerberg was true to his word and released his sixth solo album, oddly titled 49:00 …of your time life. However, things must have been odd on his end, as the album didn’t hit the net until midnight today, despite the alleged July 49th(19th) release date.

Westerberg has always been a man of the people, so it’s no surprise that he’s only charging .49 cents for his new release. It’s all through Amazon.com too, so enjoy the only time you’ll ever spend so little there. And if that’s not experimental enough for you, the entire album is one long track.

I’m still gauging what the track titles might be, but overall, this stuff is good. It’s very much in the vein of his earlier work, think 14 Songs. So if that tugs at your collar, then by all means, drop the two quarters and clear out an hour to listen.
