Watch: Grizzly Bear brings a new song to Letterman

Grizzly Bear made its much-anticipated return to late night television yesterday with a performance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Like they did with Conan back in April, the Brooklyn rockers introduced Letterman and his studio audience to a brand new tune. Entitled “Two Weeks,” the selection sees the Ed Droste led band engage in a rather melodic, keyboard-heavy pop style.

Hat tip to Deaf Indie Elephants for the mp3 and Ear Farm for pointing out that Grizzly Bear are planning to release their followup to 2006’s Yellow House sometime next April.

Like what you hear? Thankfully, there are plenty of opportunities to check out the band in the coming weeks, some of which are in support of a certain band’s second U.S. leg. Oh yeah, and Droste’s other project, Department of Eagles, plan to release In Ear Park, a new album of their own, on October 7 via 4AD Records.
