Iron & Wine will be facebooking while touring

Three new developments on the Iron & Wine front. First, Sam Bean has joined the ranks of facebook with an official Iron & Wine page! What will this fine new resource offer, you ask? “It will have a lot of the same info you see here on Myspace, but you’ll be on Facebook,” the soon to be 34-year-old South Carolina native notes. Oh yeah, that’s #2. Sam Bean’s birthday is tomorrow - July 26. So from all of us at Consequence of Sound, Happy Birthday Sam!

And third, in celebration of the new facebook and age, the figurehead behind Iron & Wine has unveiled a how bunch of new tour dates for the coming months. In other words, if you don’t catch Bean at his next stop, day three of Lollapalooza, you’ll now have plenty of opportunities to wish him a belated Birthday!
